About Time-Lapse Photography

Time-lapse photography is a special shooting technique. Different from ordinary shooting, it refers to long-time exposure freeze shooting. It can also be understood as low-speed time-lapse shooting. Time-lapse photography is mainly used to record the process of changing of shooting scenes for a while.
The subject scope of using time-lapse photography is also very wide, including the scenery of the city, natural scenery, astronomical scenery, and even the evolution of animals. So how do you shoot this amazing time-lapse photography? Here are three points to teach you to shoot.
First of all, we must prepare the equipment for shooting. It has high requirements for the equipment. Main equipment is the SLR camera and the tripod. The camera is used as a recording tool, and the tripod is a fixed tool. In addition to these, we may also use shutter lines, delay tracks, filters, and so on.
After finishing the preparation, the next step is to set the shooting parameters. We must use the M file to shoot, and set the ISO value according to the situation at the time. The setting of the aperture should not be too large, nor should it be too small. In addition, we have to manually adjust the white balance value and the K value.
After setting the parameters, you have to start shooting. Next, there is a shooting formula that you need to remember: shooting time = interval shooting time plus 24x. We should try to shoot more, leaving space for later processing. Finally, we post-processed and stitched the photos into successive segments so that a time-lapse photo was completed.
